Only 6 miles from us, you can see that the new Jefferson’s Bourbon Distillery has broken ground in Lebanon, KY. The planned Pernod Ricard facility in Marion County will consist of a 75,000-square-foot building located on a 265-acre site in Lebanon, KY (directly adjacent to Limestone Branch Distillery). The state-of-the-art carbon-neutral facility will feature a distillery, a drying operation, three warehouses, and a top-notch visitor center. Construction on the project commenced in January 2023 and is expected to wrap up by July 2024. Notably, the Marion County facility will be entirely carbon neutral and avoid the use of fossil fuels in bourbon production. Over the next five years, Pernod Ricard intends to allocate $250 million towards constructing a new distillery and bourbon warehouses in Lebanon, located in Marion County as well as support the company’s Jefferson’s Bourbon brand and existing American whiskey operations in Kentucky, Texas, and West Virginia.
