Jefferson’s Distillery™ has HAD a building in Lebanon, KY

The Lights are on; But nobody’s home…


Wildflower Ranch Inn is in the midst of the Bourbon BOOM which makes us your perfect home base for your next visit to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Only 6 miles from us, you can see the new distillery, which was to be for Jefferson’s Bourbon  in Lebanon, KY. The Pernod Ricard facility in Marion County will consist of a 75,000-square-foot building located on a 265-acre site  is directly adjacent to our friends at Limestone Branch Distillery. The state-of-the-art carbon-neutral facility will feature a distillery, a drying operation, three warehouses, and a top-notch visitor center. Construction on the project commenced in January 2023 and was expected to wrap up by end of summer 2025.

Still no still!

To-date (March 2026), there is still no public news about the current status of this site.

May 2026 — The Jefferson’s sign has been removed, replaced with a Pernod Ricard USA placard, diminishing the hopes that Jefferson’s will ever occupy this grand facility. Stories are being told that there are interested buyers of the new distillery, as Pernod Ricard is willing to sell. Time will tell…

When opened—by whoever occupies it—the Marion County facility will be entirely carbon neutral and avoid the use of fossil fuels in bourbon production. Pernod Ricard announced that they intended to allocate $250 million towards constructing the new distillery and bourbon warehouses in Lebanon, located in Marion County as well as support the company’s Jefferson’s Bourbon brand and existing American whiskey operations in Kentucky, Texas, and West Virginia.
